wake up!

context about the project: This was an assigment about making an game about experience you had in your life. Suffering from depression especially as a child i wanted to make metaphore about that. This can be broad so i chose to reflect my class performance, as a kid i tended to fall asleep in class alot to the dismay of my teachers, i got alot of comments about it and even some punishments.

context about making the project: During the making of this project i was going through a rough patch and had alot of stress, making it so when i was creating this project was incredibly difficult. A dear friend of mine came to the rescue and helped me with it. During this process i had so much fun, we decided to first make the project into a "shitpost", adding random cursed images as place holders and adding a certain laugh. This was one of the times i had so much fun making the game. Eventually ofcourse i made it into a decent project wich was a succes in my opinion.

Thats why i added 2 files: One is the actual finished game and the other one the "shitpost" prototype. This assigment and project taught me how important it is to have fun in the process of making a game because than everything comes easier to you.
